Hello All!
We hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Every year we are fortunate enough to have two! We had the best time at Monica's parents house and then we had one at our house with Troy's family. As always Monica went out into the world at 4:30 in the morning to do some shopping. She got plenty of good deals for our secret Santa family. Troy stayed home and watched the children. It has been so nice to have the children home this week. We have been able to do many things. Going to the Library, haircuts, watching the parade on TV, shopping. Its been a blast. Tomorrow they are off for one more day. We are just going to stay home :-)
Sadie and Spencer got fantastic report cards and outstanding Teacher conferences. We are so proud of their hard work.
Troy was so bummed that he didn't get to see the Utah BYU game but luckily Monica found a way and he saw the rebroadcast.
Sadie has finished the last of the Harry potter series. She read the entire book in a week!
Spencer has found a new series The 39 clues. Monica is even hooked on it. They are reading it together and then Sadie. Spencer, and Monica go on the computer to figure out clues.
Nicole is Nicole. Just as determined as ever. Her latest conquest was she sold her my little ponies for $75 on Craig's list and was able to purchase a vanity that she wanted. We listed it on a Thursday and Monday night she has $75 in her hand!
Bubba is talking up a storm and is too smart for his on good. When we left the library, I gave everyone some gum except for Bubba. He was so mad he started to yell and said with a deep yelling voice, "Mommy I want some gum! Give me gum!". It was so funny I started to laugh then all of a sudden he changed his voice and very sweetly said " That's not funny Mommy' it just not funny" Kid's say the darnedest things!
Well, good luck with those last minute purchases, for us we are done! Yeah!

Sadie
I would just like to brag about Sadie. She has been reading the HArry Potter series since June. She started book 6 two weeks ago and has not been able to put it down. Her motivation was to be able to see Movie #6 on Nov. 21. (Yes we are ALLl totally bummed about them changing it to July 09). But since we found that out it has not stopped her from reading she has got 28 pages left! We are so proud of her accomplishment.
Football Star!
Spencer just ended his 8 weeks of flag football. He really has enjoyed it. At the End they played a game against another group in his age group. Not to brag (It is a Mother's right) He not only scored two touchdowns but managed to pick up a fumble to be able to score one of those touchdowns! All I can say is "That's my boy!"
Octoberfest!
Trick or Treat!
We had a fun filled October. We went to Baugher's rode a hayride and picked our pumpkins. Some pumpkins were a little questionable. Troy and Spencer managed to find their GREAT PUMPKIN. Sadie mangaed to comb throught the entire patch before finding her pumpkin. Bubba and Nicole found just the right size for them. We were able to visit with Nonni and Pop, Uncle Tim, Aunt Theresa, Sierra, Tyler, BJ, Amy, Drew, Jessie and Christian. Afterwards Monica surprised Troy by choosing Texas roadhuose for a birthday dinner.
Trick or Treating was a blast this year. We were acompany by Indiana Jones, a Dallas Cowboys Football player, A gymnast and a Life size Carebear! Everyone managed to carry thier own bags candy. ( I think they were determined!)
As a side note: We had a family in our old ward who lost two of there children in a car accident. As I was driving to the viewing, our children were asking me normal questions and as I answered them I was able to share this with them. I know that through the plan of salvation we are an eternal family. How grateful I am to my Heavenly Father for creating such an awesome plan of happiness. I know that if I do all that I can in this life that I will be with my family forever. This plan has given me comfort over the years through the loss of Grandparents but never has it become more real to me than the other night when I shared my testimony with them. I am so grateful for gospel in my life I am not quite sure where I would be without it. It has brought such happiness and joy. After I shared my testimony with them I told them (more for Nicole's benefit) that if you needed to say anything to Brother and Sisiter Boles just simply say "I'm sorry your son died" Well as we gave them hugs I introduced Nicole to Sister Boles. It was very silent in the room and this sweet little voice said "I'm sorry your son died." How grateful I am to Nicole for her sweet spirit.
